Classic Hatha Yoga In our classes you will experience that Yoga means far more than merely a series of physical exercises. By becoming more aware what is actually happening in body and mind through mudras and pranayama we will be able to add a more subtle quality to each Asana. At an advanced level Dhyana (meditation) is included in the Asana practice. At this stage Asanas have become the tool to trigger the state of higher consciousness and thus enables us to experience the union of body, mind and spirit.
Meditation Meditation is a practice that enables us to awaken, to live in the present moment and develop a greater understanding of our relationship towards ourselves and others. While practicing meditation, we gradually learn to train the mind, to let go of anger and aversion, negativity, fear, stress. We learn, by coming to know intimately the present moment, to open the heart, to live with love, kindness, compassion, joy and serenity.
